Dedicated to the Appreciation of Wildlife!
September 17, 2015
The Friends of Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge is ready to present a free, richly illustrated slideshow to your group. It describes the wildlife and plants at the Refuge and what the Friends do to support the Refuge. The program can be tailored to address the interests of your group and typically runs about 20-30 minutes, including questions. The Friends supplies a knowledgeable speaker, plus the laptop, projector, screen and handouts. All you need to provide is electricity and the audience.
Topics in the program include:
Where the Refuge is and how it was formed
Migratory and Resident Birds
Plant communities
Challenges
Current Activities and future projects
To schedule a presentation for your group, email the Friends at: info@friendsofstonelakes.org or call and leave a message at (916) 775-4418.
