Volunteer opportunities vary with the season and project.

If you're interested in working with rehabilitating animals, please contact the Wildlife Care Association. The Refuge does not have the facilities or staff to rehabilitate injured or orphaned animals.

Another great way to volunteer at the Refuge is through the Sacramento Tree Foundation, which holds a number of  habitat restoration days on the Refuge throughout the year. To get information about and register for upcoming projects with STF, go to the Sacramento Tree Foundation webpage.

If you do volunteer with either of these organizations, please fill out this form as well so we can keep you informed of any additional opportunities that arise.

The Friends, the Staff and the Wildlife all thank you for your interest!
